Join us for our next School holiday whānau wānanga. This time we’ll be in New Plymouth staying at Kātere Marae and camping on Rewarewa Pā by the river mouth if the weather is okay. We’ll be doing more water monitoring, including E.coli, and fish surveying along with some star navigation and working in the maara. The focus of this wānanga will be on longterm management planning – using the history and current knowledge of our special sites to help us create a path to make our dreams a reality.
This is a wānanga for the whole whānau. Under 16s must come with a guardian. If your whānau needs assistance with getting to the marae, please get in touch and we will help where we can. There is no cost but feel free to bring a koha. Let’s get outside and enjoy our natural environment.
