WHAT: Taiao Wānanga – Ngāhuru 2020
WHEN: April school holidays, during a weekend
WHERE: to be confirmed
WHO: Organised by Te Whenua Tōmuri Trust for people interested in learning about kaitiakitanga
Join us for our next School holiday whānau wānanga. This time we’ll be getting ready for winter planting focusing on plant propagation and riparian plans. We’ll be doing more water monitoring, fish surveying along with some star navigation and hopefully working in a maara. We’ll be confirming details on our facebook page, on here and via email if you’re on our email list. It may be our last wānanga for a while so don’t miss out.
This is a wānanga for the whole whānau. Under 16s must come with a guardian. If your whānau needs assistance with getting to the marae, please get in touch and we will help where we can. There is no cost but feel free to bring a koha especially if it is kai you have caught, made or grown. Let’s get outside and enjoy our natural environment.
